The Confrontation In The Foyer

The Maid Saved The Heirloom After A Violent Threat

Julian stared at the maid holding the precious antique frame near the entrance stairs.

He looked up toward the second floor balcony where his fiancé was sobbing loudly.

Julian: What on earth is happening inside my house right now?

Victoria: Julian, thank goodness you are home to save me from this maid!

Victoria ran down the double staircase with dramatic tears flowing down her face.

She pointed a trembling finger directly at Elena’s grey uniform chest in anger.

Victoria: She was trying to steal the family trust documents from your office!

Victoria: When I caught her, she almost knocked me over the high balcony railing!

Elena shook her head firmly as fresh tears rolled down her own red cheeks.

Elena: That is completely untrue, sir, I swear on my life and honor!

Elena: She deliberate dropped this heavy frame down to destroy the guardianship records!

Elena: She tried to frame me so you would fire me before the wedding!

Julian looked between the two women with deep confusion and growing anger in his eyes.

He valued honesty above everything else inside his quiet private household life.

He walked closer to Elena and looked at the heavy frame in her arms.

The glass was completely intact without a single scratch or tiny thin hairline crack.

He noticed that Elena’s uniform knees were dusty from sliding hard across the marble floor.

Her hands were trembling from the pure physical force of catching the heavy object.

Julian: Elena has served this family faithfully long before you ever arrived here.

Victoria: Are you seriously taking the word of a simple maid over mine?

Victoria: I am going to be your wife and the stepmother to your child!

Elena: She does not care about the baby or your happiness at all, sir.

Elena: Check the pocket of her beige coat right now before she moves!

Victoria turned pale instantly and took a quick step backward toward the stairs.

Julian caught Victoria’s arm gently but firmly before she could turn around to run.
