Later that afternoon, local police officers arrived at the estate to take Maria's full official statement.
They documented the scene, taking photos of the high balcony and the white marble floor below it.
Ethan provided the home security footage that caught Victoria fleeing the property in her vehicle earlier.
The authorities issued an immediate warrant for Victoria's arrest based on the overwhelming evidence presented to them.
By evening, Victoria was taken into custody at a hotel near the airport while trying to flee.
Ethan sat in the comfortable living room, holding Chloe in his lap as she played with a toy.
He called Maria into the room, asking her to take a seat on the soft leather sofa opposite.
Maria sat down nervously, wondering if her position as a maid in the house was now changing.
Ethan looked at her with deep respect, opening a formal folder he had prepared with his attorney.
He explained that he was officially changing his estate planning and domestic staff structure today completely.
He announced that Maria would no longer be working as a simple house maid cleaning the floors.
Instead, he offered her the position of full-time head guardian and manager of the estate affairs.
The new role came with a generous salary, a permanent trust fund, and full private legal protection.
Maria gasped in surprise, holding her hand over her mouth as tears filled her eyes once again.
Ethan emphasized that he wanted someone he trusted completely to help raise his sweet daughter Chloe.
He knew that Maria's heart was pure and that she truly cared for Chloe like family would.
Maria accepted the offer with deep gratitude, promising to protect and care for Chloe always going forward.
The sun began to set over the grand Montgomery estate, casting a warm golden light through windows.
The dark cloud of greed and deceit had finally been lifted from the home, leaving behind peace.
Little Chloe reached out her small hand, giggling as she touched Maria's fingers with pure delight.
Maria held the baby's small hand gently, knowing that their lives were now secure and safe together.
Justice had been served, and true loyalty had won over evil schemes in the most profound way.
Ethan smiled, feeling a sense of true comfort in his home for the very first time in months.
They had faced a nightmare, but came out stronger as a real family bound by genuine love.
