A Desperate Heroic Rescue

The Maid Saved His Heir Before It Was Too Late

Elena sprinted across the polished marble floor before Victoria could slide the heavy iron bolt shut.

She pushed open the heavy mahogany door, shielding the small baby wrap with her own body.

Elena: What are you doing? The baby will get sick in this freezing cold air!

Victoria: How dare you lay your hands on me, you insolent servant!

Victoria reached out to snatch the baby's medical chart and trust fund papers from the table.

She swung her arm toward the open balcony rail, threatening to throw the vital papers into the wind.

Victoria: Without these papers, Charles will never be able to prove his child's legal inheritance!

Elena lunged forward without hesitation, snatching the legal folder right out of Victoria's hand.

She stumbled backward onto the rug, clutching the vital papers tightly against her own chest.

Victoria glared down at the maid with absolute fury burning in her sharp eyes.

Victoria: Give those back to me right now, or I will make sure you are fired today!

Elena: I will never let you ruin this innocent child's future, Mrs. Hudson!

The infant began to cry loudly, frightened by the harsh raised voices in the room.

Elena cradled the baby gently in her left arm while keeping the documents safe in her right hand.

She backed away toward the hallway, keeping her eyes fixed on the dangerous woman before her.

Victoria stepped closer, her hands clenched into tight fists as her face twisted with rage.

Victoria: Nobody in this house will take your word over mine, Elena.

Suddenly, the sound of heavy boots echoed loudly from the grand staircase down the hall.
