The Heroic Rescue

The Maid Protected My Son When His Stepmother Showed Her True Colors

Clara flew up the steps, ignoring the burning pain in her legs as she rushed forward.

Leo tumbled over the top step, his small hands reaching out wildly for help.

Clara dove forward across the marble surface just as the boy fell through the air.

She scooped young Leo firmly into her arms right before his head hit the hard stone steps.

They slid together down the lower steps, coming to a sudden stop against the soft rug floor.

Leo sobbed uncontrollably into Clara's chest, trembling with intense fear and shock.

Clara held the boy closely, checking his arms and legs for any serious injuries.

"It's okay, Leo, I've got you," Clara whispered gently while holding him safe.

Up on the upper landing, Victoria stood looking down with a ruthless and calm smile.

"Accidents happen so easily in big houses!" Victoria called down with complete indifference.

Clara cradled the crying boy protectively, her heart pounding with immense outrage and disgust.

She looked up at Victoria on the staircase landing with fierce and burning indignation.

"You monster! How dare you lay your filthy hands on this innocent child!" Clara shouted back.

Victoria slowly walked down the marble steps, holding her head high with arrogant pride.

"Watch your tongue, maid," Victoria sneered coldly as she reached the main floor hallway.

"You are just a cheap servant, while I am the lady of this entire estate."

Clara stood up carefully, placing Leo gently behind her back for safety and protection.

She faced the wealthy woman directly, her eyes flashing with unmistakable bravery and resolve.

"I don't care about your wealth or status," Clara said with a strong, unwavering voice.

"You tried to hurt a helpless seven-year-old child because of your own sick greed."

Victoria raised her hand threateningly toward Clara's face with arrogant fury.

"Know your place before I fire you and throw you onto the street!" Victoria yelled.

Clara did not flinch, stepping directly into Victoria's space without a single shred of fear.
