The Truth Prevails

The Maid Held His Secret Child In Her Arms

Nathan walked over to the main house phone sitting on the table.

He dialed the direct personal number for his chief corporate defense lawyer.

Victoria ran over to hit the phone base with her bare hand.

Nathan blocked her arm smoothly and held the receiver to his ear.

Nathan: Arthur, I need you at my penthouse with divorce papers.

Victoria: Nathan stop this madness right now before it is late!

Nathan: Also bring the police to investigate blackmail and child endangerment.

Victoria: You are throwing away our entire empire for a maid!

Nathan hung up the phone with a loud clear click sound.

He walked past Victoria without giving her a single second glance.

He stood right in front of Ellen and the tiny young child.

He reached out his hand gently toward the small sobbing child.

The girl looked at her mother first for a quick silent approval.

Ellen nodded her head gently with fresh tears falling down her cheeks.

The small girl leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Nathan's neck.

Nathan pulled his daughter close to his chest for the first time.

He felt her warm breathing against his crisp black suit jacket collar.

A deep sense of protection washed over his entire heart instantly.

Victoria watched them from the edge of the large open room.

She realized she had lost all control over the dramatic situation now.

She grabbed her coat and attempted to head for the front door.

Nathan stepped into the hallway to block her quick escape route.

Nathan: You are staying right here until the authorities arrive Victoria.

Victoria: You cannot keep me locked inside this apartment by force!

Nathan: Building security is already holding the private elevators down below.

Maid: The truth is finally out Nathan, she cannot hurt us.

Victoria slumped against the wall as her posture completely collapsed in defeat.

Her expensive lifestyle was coming to a very sudden dramatic end.

The sound of the elevator bell chimed softly down the long hallway.

The final confrontation was about to take place in full view.
