Three months passed quickly at the sunlit bright country estate home.
The secret panel behind the portrait frame was completely sealed up.
A beautiful new painting of spring flowers hung in its place.
Lily ran happily through the wide hallways with her cute dog.
Her cheerful laughter filled every room that was once so quiet.
Elena walked alongside David carrying a tray of fresh cold juice.
She was no longer just a maid wearing an old apron.
She was the trusted manager overseeing the vast family property today.
David: The final court hearing finished early this morning in town.
Elena: Did the judge approve the permanent custody forms for Lily?
David: Yes, Lily is officially safe and the trust is fully secured.
Victoria had been sentenced to prison for her unlawful cruel actions.
She would never be allowed near the child or estate again.
The inheritance was placed in a safe bank trust until college.
Lily: Look at the pretty drawing I made for you today!
The little girl ran up and handed Elena a bright paper.
The picture showed three people standing together under a bright sun.
Elena: This is the most beautiful drawing I have ever seen.
Lily: It shows our happy family living together in our home.
David smiled warmly as he placed his hand on Lily's head.
They walked out into the green garden under clear blue sky.
Truth and courage had restored peace to the grand historic house.
Elena knew that love and honesty would always protect their lives.
