Richard: What on earth is happening in here?! Why is Leo screaming like that?!
Chloe: Richard, darling! Thank goodness you’re home!
Chloe: Your maid has completely lost her mind! She rushed in here and attacked me while I was just trying to soothe the baby!
Sarah: That is an absolute lie, Mr. Sterling!
Sarah: She was holding a lit flame right next to little Leo’s face!
Chloe: Don't listen to a single word she says, Richard! She's a low-level servant trying to extort money from our family!
Richard: Chloe, put the lighter back in your purse right now. Sarah, step back and tell me exactly what you saw.
Sarah: I heard Leo crying from the end of the hallway, sir. When I opened the door, she was standing over his crib with a lit lighter, screaming about trust fund documents!
Chloe: She’s fabricating stories because I threatened to report her for stealing silverware last week!
Sarah: I have never stolen anything in my seven years of working for your family, Mr. Sterling!
Richard: Chloe, why would Sarah invent something so horrific about my son?
Chloe: Because she’s jealous of my position as your fiancée! She knows we’re getting married next month, and she wants to ruin my reputation before the prenuptial agreement is finalized!
Sarah: I don't care about your wedding or your prenuptial agreement, Miss Vance! I care about this innocent child’s life!
Baby: Waaaaah! Mommy... waaaah!
Richard: Shh, quiet down, buddy. Daddy’s right here.
Richard reached out and took his sobbing son from Sarah’s arms, holding the boy close against his chest. He looked into his son’s watery eyes and noticed a faint red heat smudge on the baby’s forehead.
Richard: Chloe... why is Leo’s skin so hot right here?
Chloe: He’s just flushed from crying so hard! You know how sensitive his skin is!
Sarah: It’s hot because the flame was less than two inches from his forehead, Mr. Sterling!
Chloe: Fire this maid immediately, Richard! If you don't throw her out on the street right now, I am walking out of this engagement!
Richard: Nobody is firing anyone until I figure out what is really going on in my own house!
Sarah: Mr. Sterling, I have proof. I didn't just walk in here empty-handed today.
Chloe: What proof could a maid possibly have?! Stop wasting my fiancé's valuable time!
Sarah: I found something inside the nursery cabinet while cleaning this morning. Something Miss Vance dropped behind the baby’s formula tins.
Sarah reached into her uniform pocket, her fingers trembling slightly as she pulled out a small, metallic object that caught the light.
Sarah: Here is all the real evidence.
She held out a bright red USB flash drive toward Richard.
Richard: Let me see that.
Chloe: Don't touch that dirty thumb drive, Richard! She probably loaded it with computer viruses from her own apartment!
Richard: I said let me see it, Chloe!
Richard reached over, taking the red flash drive directly from Sarah's hand. His brow furrowed deeply as he examined the custom corporate logo stamped on the side of the metal casing.
Richard: This has the internal seal of my late wife’s estate attorneys. Where did you get this, Chloe?
Chloe: I... I have never seen that drive before in my entire life! She must have planted it in my bag!
Sarah: I saw you hiding it in the nursery cabinet two days ago, Miss Vance. You thought nobody was watching you on the third floor.
Richard: We're going down to my study right now. Both of you, move.
