Elena pushed the heavy nursery door wide open and stepped into the sunlit room with determination.
Elena: Stop right now, Victoria! Leave that baby alone!
Victoria whirled around in surprise, her green silk dress rustling against the polished floorboards.
Victoria: How dare you address me by my first name, you simple servant!
Elena: I do not care about your titles when you treat a baby like that!
Victoria stepped forward with her chin raised high, trying to intimidate the housekeeper.
Victoria: Put that phone away immediately or you will be fired today!
Elena: Firing me will not erase what I just caught on this screen!
Elena kept the camera aimed directly at Victoria's angry face as she spoke firmly.
Victoria reached out her hand in a sudden attempt to snatch the phone away.
Elena stepped back quickly and wrapped her arms protectively around little Leo's crib railing.
Victoria: Give me that phone right now! You have no right to film me!
Elena: I have every right to protect an innocent child in this house!
Baby Leo cried louder, sensing the extreme tension filling the bright room.
Elena lifted the small infant into her arms and cradled him gently against her shoulder.
She backed away toward the open hallway, keeping her phone camera active and focused.
Victoria: You are making a massive mistake that will ruin your entire life!
Elena: The only mistake here is how you treat this helpless boy!
Victoria stormed after Elena into the wide hallway under the large American flag hanging above.
Victoria: Mind your own business and give me that baby this instant!
Elena: He is my business as long as I work under this roof!
Victoria raised her hand threateningly, her eyes wild with furious anger.
Elena stood her ground firmly near the grand marble staircase without flinching at all.
She held the crying child tightly in one arm while holding the phone high in the other.
She knew she needed to keep the camera running until help arrived at the front door.
The heavy oak entrance doors suddenly rattled loudly from the front porch outside.
