Justice Prevails

The Maid Exposed The Stepmother Before It Was Too Late

Arthur Whitman charged into the grand foyer with furious, fast steps.

Flanking him were two uniformed police officers holding their heavy gear.

Arthur’s face was dark with intense, overwhelming paternal anger and worry.

He had received the live video alert on his phone while driving.

He had watched his wife threaten his precious son in real time.

Arthur: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!

Leo broke away from Elena and ran straight toward his father.

Arthur dropped to his knees on the marble floor and caught him.

He pulled his sobbing son into a tight, incredibly warm embrace.

Leo: Daddy! She tried to lock me away in the closet!

Arthur: I know, son, I saw everything on the security feed.

Elena: Check the staircase security cameras, Mr. Whitman, it's all recorded!

Arthur: I don't even need to check, Elena, I saw it live.

Arthur stood up slowly, his tall frame trembling with absolute rage.

He looked up at Victoria, who was frozen on the stairs.

She tried to put on a innocent, fake smile for him.

Victoria: Arthur, darling! It was all just a huge misunderstanding!

Arthur: Do not call me darling ever again, you monster!

Victoria: The maid is lying to you! She set me up!

Arthur: I watched you grab my son with my own eyes!

Arthur signaled to the two police officers standing by the door.

The officers moved quickly up the marble stairs toward the woman.

Victoria shrieked as they grabbed her wrists firmly behind her back.

The metallic click of handcuffs echoed clearly throughout the giant foyer.

Victoria: Get your hands off me! Do you know who I am?!

Arthur: YOU MONSTER! YOU ARE LEAVING THIS HOUSE IN HANDCUFFS FOR LIFE! TAKE HER AWAY!

The officers marched the screaming woman down the stairs toward doors.

Victoria kicked and yelled, but nobody in the room cared anymore.

She was dragged out into the bright daylight to face justice.

Arthur turned around and walked over to where Elena was standing.

He looked at the brave maid with deep, immense gratitude in his eyes.

Arthur: You saved my son today, Elena. I can never repay you.

Elena: I promised to protect him, Mr. Whitman, always.

Arthur: From today on, you are family, not just our staff.

Leo smiled softly through his tears and grabbed Elena's hand tightly.

The dark storm over the mansion had finally passed for good.
