The Maid Exposed The Bride Before She Dropped The Glass

Victoria gasped loudly as David held her arm in a firm grip.

Victoria: Let go of me! You're hurting my arm, David!

David: You tried to kill me for a trust fund, Victoria.

David: Your wedding is over and you are going straight to federal prison!

He pulled her firmly across the bright white marble floor toward security.

The fallen bride stumbled in her heavy dress, crying out loudly.

Her father tried to step in front of David to stop him.

Victoria's Father: David, let's discuss this like civilized business partners!

David's father stepped forward and placed a heavy hand on him.

David's Father: Get out of my house before I have you arrested too.

David's Father: Your entire family is finished in this city after today.

The big double doors of the mansion swung open to daylight.

Two local police cruisers pulled up to the driveway with lights flashing.

The security guards escorted Victoria out into the bright sunshine outside.

She was screaming and crying as the officers placed her in handcuffs.

The guests inside watched through the tall glass windows in total awe.

David walked back toward the center of the hall, breathing heavily.

He looked at the small glass of champagne sitting on the tray.

A forensics officer stepped inside a few minutes later with gear.

He carefully placed the poisoned drink into a plastic biohazard bag.

David took a deep breath and turned around to look for Sarah.

The young maid was standing near the wall, looking down quietly.

Her cheek was still red and swollen from the harsh blow.

David walked over to her slowly, his eyes soft with gratitude.

He took both of her hands into his own gently.

David: You saved my life today, Sarah.

David: I can never repay you for the courage you just showed.

Sarah: I just did what was right, Mr. David.

Sarah: Nobody deserves to be hurt like that by someone they trust.

David smiled softly and wiped a tear from his own face.

The dark storm had passed, leaving behind the clean daylight of truth.
