Evelyn sat on the hard floor looking up in shock.
Richard pointed his finger down at her with pure fury.
Man: Get out of my sight!
Man: You will spend the rest of your life in prison!
Evelyn began to cry fake tears to gain his pity back.
Evelyn: Richard please, you must listen to your loving wife!
Man: Silence your lying mouth right now!
Richard turned toward his lead security officer standing near the door.
Man: Check the security camera feeds from the foyer immediately.
The officer nodded quickly and pulled out his black tablet device.
Evelyn's face turned completely white as she heard the order given.
She had forgotten about the hidden cameras near the grand chandelier.
The guard tapped the glass screen and reviewed the live footage.
He walked over to Richard and handed him the clear screen.
The video showed Evelyn lifting the baby with cold detachment.
It showed her opening her hands wide to let him fall.
It showed Clara diving across the stone floor to save him.
Richard watched the terrible video three times in absolute silence.
His hands shook with massive rage as he handed back the tablet.
He realized that his child was almost lost to dark cruelty.
Man: Why would you do such a horrific thing to him?
The guard stepped forward and spoke up in a calm tone.
Guard: Sir, we found legal papers hidden in her private bedroom.
Guard: She signed a large life insurance policy on the boy yesterday.
The truth hit the room like a sudden heavy wave of lightning.
Evelyn wanted the massive payout to settle her hidden private debts.
She had planned to blame the sad event on the maid.
Richard looked at his wife with complete disgust and utter horror.
