Justice in the Texas Garden

Evelyn: A false report? I didn't call the police yet!

Mark: But I am calling them right now!

Mark pulled out his phone and dialed three digits immediately.

Evelyn: Mark, stop! Don't call the cops!

Mark: Hello, Officer? I need police assistance at the Dallas Garden Estate immediately.

Mark: We have a woman here who attempted to frame an employee with grand larceny and setup an insurance fraud scam.

Evelyn: Hang up the phone! Are you insane?!

Mark: I'm completely sane for the first time in two years!

Mark lowered his phone after finishing the call, staring down his disgraced ex-fiancée.

Mark: The police will be here in five minutes.

Evelyn: You're going to put me in jail over a maid?!

Mark: I'm putting you in jail over your own illegal actions.

Clara stood near the garden table, wiping her tears with her apron as the catering manager walked over to support her.

Catering Manager: Clara, you're safe now. No one is taking you anywhere.

Clara: Thank you... thank you so much, little girl.

Lily smiled softly and took Clara's hand in hers.

Lily: My mom always told me to speak up when somebody is lying!

Mark: You did the right thing, Lily. You saved an innocent person today.

Within minutes, the sirens echoed in the distance, growing louder as the police cars pulled into the venue's gravel driveway.

Two Dallas police officers walked briskly onto the garden lawn.

Police Officer: Who called dispatch regarding a fraud and false accusation incident?

Mark: I did, Officer. This is my former fiancée, Evelyn.

Mark: She intentionally planted a valuable necklace in this worker's pocket and attempted to have her arrested.

Police Officer: Do you have evidence of this claim, sir?

Mark: We have high-definition video footage recorded by my niece showing the exact moment she did it.

Police Officer: Ma'am, step forward please.

Evelyn turned around to run toward the house, but the second officer moved quickly to block her path.

Police Officer: Don't make this worse for yourself, ma'am.
