The Vance mansion was filled with soft classical music and dressed guests.
Arthur stood near the main fireplace, looking tired and strangely heartbroken.
He missed Clara's warm presence, but he believed his fiancée's terrible story.
Evelyn stood beside him in a stunning emerald gown, smiling at the crowd.
She held a fountain pen and a thick stack of legal trust documents.
Evelyn: Dear friends, thank you for joining us on this special night!
A wealthy family estate lawyer stepped forward with a official ink stamp.
Lawyer: Mr. Vance, once you sign these pages, Evelyn becomes sole trustee.
Arthur raised his pen slowly, hesitating as he thought about his daughter.
Suddenly, the massive double doors of the grand ballroom burst wide open.
Clara walked boldly into the bright hall, followed closely by old Henry.
Clara: Do not sign those papers, Mr. Vance!
The entire crowd gasped in total surprise as security guards moved forward.
Evelyn: How dare you break into our private house, you crazy maid!
Arthur: Clara, I told you never to return to this property!
Henry: Look at the main presentation screen before you judge her, Arthur!
Henry hit a button on his wireless remote control device instantly.
The massive projector screen on the wall flickered to life in bright color.
The high-definition security footage began playing loudly for everyone to see.
The crowd watched in silent horror as Evelyn kicked the toy toward Lily.
They saw Evelyn stand idle while the little child stumbled toward danger.
They saw Clara dive across the hard floor to save Lily's life.
Finally, they saw Evelyn smash her own cup to stage the cruel frame-up.
Arthur dropped his fine gold pen onto the marble floor in utter shock.
He turned toward Evelyn with dark, furious eyes full of deep regret.
Arthur: You monster... You tried to harm my innocent child!
Evelyn: Arthur, please! That video is a fake setup!
Two police officers pushed through the front doors, holding silver handcuffs.
Officer: Evelyn Rose, you are under arrest for child endangerment and fraud.
They handcuffed Evelyn's wrists while she screamed wildly in utter humiliation.
The crowd watched in silence as the police dragged the crying woman away.
Arthur walked toward Clara with heavy tears streaming down his tired face.
He fell to his knees on the marble floor, taking Clara's hand gently.
Arthur: Clara, please forgive me for being so terribly blind!
Clara: I only ever cared about protecting sweet Lily, sir.
Lily ran out from the side room and hugged Clara's waist tightly.
Lily: I missed you so much, Clara!
Arthur restored Clara's job, doubling her monthly salary as estate manager.
Truth and loyalty finally prevailed inside the grand mansion once and for all.
