David pointed firmly toward the front doorway, his voice deadly low and absolutely calm now.
David: Take your expensive purse, get out of my house, and never set foot here again.
Megan: You are kicking me out on Christmas Eve over a tiny childish misunderstanding?
Sarah: Terrifying my helpless daughter is not a misunderstanding, Megan, it is unacceptable behavior.
Megan scoffed loudly, but as she grabbed her coat from the hall, a folded envelope fell out.
