Elena backed away toward the edge of the large bedroom door with caution.
Her face turned completely pale as David flipped through the stolen legal pages.
She realized that her secret master plan had just been totally destroyed today.
David: How long have you been planning to rob me and my daughter?
Elena: You never gave me the respect or status I deserved in this house!
David: I gave you a luxury mansion, credit cards, and a comfortable life!
Elena: You only ever cared about your late wife and your spoiled child!
David looked down at the signature line on the fraudulent legal paper document.
He recognized the forged signature of his head company accountant, Marcus Reed.
Marcus had been David's trusted business partner for over ten whole years now.
David felt a deep wave of betrayal wash over his entire mind and heart.
He realized that Elena was not working alone in this greedy dark plot.
She was working directly with his most trusted long-time corporate advisor at work.
David: Marcus helped you create these fake property deeds, did he not?
Elena: Marcus knows how to run the family business better than you ever did!
David: He is a criminal thief, and so are you, Elena!
Elena suddenly reached into her coat pocket and pulled out her cell phone.
She tried to dial a fast emergency call to warn her partner Marcus.
David stepped forward quickly and snatched the mobile phone out of her hand.
David: You are not calling anyone until the police officers arrive right here.
Elena: You cannot prove that I wrote any of those forged signatures yourself!
David: The legal paper trail and bank transfers will prove everything to the judge.
Elena panicked and darted out of the bedroom down the long main hallway.
She ran toward the grand staircase hoping to reach her luxury sports car outside.
David did not chase her down the stairs because he cared about Lily first.
He walked straight into his daughter's bedroom to make sure she was safe.
David: Lock this bedroom door from the inside until I come back, Lily.
Lily: Is the bad lady leaving our house forever now, daddy?
David: Yes, my sweet girl, she will never come back here again.
David took his phone out of his pocket as he walked down the stairs.
He dialed the private number of his lead corporate attorney, Arthur Vance.
Arthur: Hello David, what can I do for you this morning, my friend?
David: Arthur, I need you to freeze all company accounts and call police right now.
Arthur: What happened at your house? Is everything okay with your family?
David: My wife and Marcus Reed are actively trying to steal my entire estate.
Arthur: I am filing an emergency court injunction against both of them immediately.
David walked out onto the front porch and saw Elena's car speeding away fast.
The loud engine roared down the quiet suburban driveway into the distance ahead.
