Daniel carefully sat Lily on a nearby chair and wrapped a warm blanket around her shoulders.
She was still crying.
He knelt beside her.

Lily explained that while she was looking for her father before the ceremony, Victoria told her the adults needed privacy and guided her outside.
When Lily tried to come back in, the front doors were locked.
