Beatrice deliberately opened her arms wide, intentionally dropping the baby from high up in the air toward the hard stone below. Sudden gasps and screams from the crowd ("Oh no!") echoed through the grand hall as the tiny infant plummeted downward. Shocked screaming SFX pierced the air, mingling with Clara's desperate, guttural shrieks of pure agony as she watched her child fall. The baby falls toward the polished marble floor while the woman throws her hands up with a triumphant, wicked smirk. Time seemed to stretch into an impossible eternity, every second moving in agonizing slow motion across the bright expanse of the room.
Clara: My baby! Oh god, my baby!
Beatrice: Let that be a lesson to anyone who thinks they can cross me.
Guest One: She actually dropped the child! Someone catch that baby!
Guest Two: Security! Call an ambulance right now!
The infant landed and lay on the marble floor, crying loudly with a piercing, heartbreaking wail that echoed off the white columns. Loud baby crying ("Wah! Wah!") vibrated through the foyer as the tiny form lay motionless for a terrifying heartbeat before moving. Clara threw herself forward, crawling frantically across the slick stone toward her child, her fingers bleeding against the hard marble. Heavy running footsteps suddenly thundered from the hallway as a man in a charcoal grey suit rushed into the grand hall. Julian dropped to his knees with desperate momentum, throwing his arms around the crying child to shield her from any further harm. The entire room held its breath, waiting to see if the infant survived the horrific fall.
Julian: I've got you! Clara, look at me, is the baby breathing?!
Clara: She's breathing, Julian! Oh thank god, she's breathing!
Julian: Who did this? Which one of you monsters let this happen?!
Beatrice: It was a clumsy accident, Julian. The mother simply tripped over her own feet.
Julian turned his furious gaze toward his mother, his eyes blazing with a deadly rage that silenced the entire room instantly. The family estate had just become a crime scene, and the true monster wearing emerald green was standing right in plain sight.
