Exposing The Evil Plot

The Cruel Stepmother Cut The Pearl Necklace In Anger

Sarah reached down and picked up the silver craft scissors from the floor.

She held them up so Victoria could see her own reflection in the metal.

Sarah: Fingerprints stay on polished metal for a very long time.

Victoria: That does not prove anything about the will!

Sarah: It proves you destroyed personal property belonging to a minor child.

Victoria: She is a child under my legal guardianship!

Sarah: Not anymore after what happened ten minutes ago.

Sarah dialed three numbers on her mobile phone on speaker mode.

The phone rang twice before a loud police dispatcher answered.

Dispatcher: Emergency services, what is your location?

Sarah: I need an officer at 450 Highland Drive immediately.

Victoria: Hang up that phone right now, Sarah!

Sarah: An adult stepmother just endangered a minor on camera.

Dispatcher: Officers are dispatched to your location right now, ma'am.

Sarah ended the call and placed her phone back into her pocket.

Victoria's face turned completely pale as panic set in.

Victoria: You are destroying this family's reputation in public!

Sarah: You destroyed it the moment you treated Clara like garbage.

Clara stood up slowly from the sofa and walked toward the stairs.

She held the three smooth pearls tightly in her right hand.

Clara: My mother told me love is stronger than greed.

Sarah: Your mother was right, sweetie.

Victoria: Be quiet, Clara! You know nothing about life!

Sarah: Do not yell at her ever again in my presence!

The distant sound of police sirens echoed from down the quiet street.

Victoria turned around and rushed toward her private master suite.

She slammed the heavy oak door behind her with a loud bang.

Sarah: Running away will not change the truth, Victoria!

Sarah walked down the marble steps back to Clara's side.

She knelt down and wrapped her arms around the young girl again.

Sarah: The police will be here in two minutes to help us.

Clara: Will I have to live with her anymore, Aunt Sarah?

Sarah: Never again. You are coming home with me today.
