Tuesday morning began like any other busy weekday at the grand estate.
Mark gathered his leather briefcase near the front entrance hall early on.
He gave little Leo a tender kiss on his warm forehead before leaving.
Mark: Daddy will be back home early tonight for dinner, buddy.
Leo giggled softly while reaching out his tiny hands toward his father.
Victoria stood near the stair railing with a polished fake smile.
Victoria: Do not worry about a thing, Mark, I will handle everything today.
Mark nodded with confidence and walked out toward his luxury sedan.
The front doors clicked shut, and the heavy atmosphere immediately shifted.
Victoria turned around instantly with a cold glare toward the quiet maid.
Victoria: Elena, take the boy to his nursery and keep him silent.
Elena: He just wants to play with his wooden blocks in the living room.
Victoria: I do not care what he wants because his noise gives me a headache.
Elena gently took Leo's small hand and guided him toward the soft rug.
Victoria snatched the favorite teddy bear right out of Leo's hands tightly.
Leo began to cry loudly as he reached for his missing toy.
Victoria grabbed a strong harness strap and pulled the crying boy abruptly away.
Elena gasped in horror and stepped directly between Victoria and the small child.
Elena: Please do not treat him so harshly, he is only a baby!
Victoria: Move out of my way before I drop you to the floor!
Victoria shoved Elena roughly against the hard marble wall without any remorse.
Elena hit her cheek against the wooden trim, leaving a faint dark bruise.
Leo cried even harder as Victoria dragged him down the long corridor.
Elena wiped a fresh tear from her sore cheek and made a brave decision.
She knew she could no longer remain silent while a child suffered endlessly.
She reached into her beige uniform pocket and pulled out her small phone.
Her hands shook wildly as she dialed Mark's private direct office line.
The phone rang three times before Mark answered from his busy desk.
Mark: Hello Elena, is everything alright at the house right now?
Elena: Mr. Mark, you need to come back home immediately without stopping!
