Victoria reached down and tried to rip the heavy wooden box from Elena's hands.
Elena held on tightly while kneeling on the cold floor, refusing to surrender the proof.

Suddenly, the heavy front doors swung open as Julian stepped back into the foyer.
He had heard the loud shouting echoing through the massive halls from his office.
He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw his wife pulling on the maid.
Julian: What on earth is happening in my front entrance hall right now?!

Victoria immediately dropped her hands and forced a tearful expression onto her face.

Elena: Check the security camera mounted near the top of the upper balcony ceiling!
Victoria froze instantly, her face turning pale as she looked up at the corner camera.
She had forgotten that Julian installed full security cameras throughout the whole entire home.
Julian walked over to the wall control panel and quickly opened the video playback feed.
The screen clearly showed Victoria holding the box over the railing and letting go.
It also showed Elena sliding across the hard floor to catch the precious family treasure.
Julian closed his eyes in deep disgust, his entire body trembling with quiet rage.
