Julian walked over to the hallway wall phone and dialed his family attorney directly.
"Mr. Harrison, this is Julian," he spoke into the phone with cold clarity.
"I need you to draft a formal restraining order against my mother immediately."
"Also, revoke her access to the family trust fund and all business accounts."
Eleanor rushed forward off the stairs, reaching out toward the phone in desperation.
"Julian, stop! You are destroying your father's legacy!" she screamed at him.
"My father would never have harmed a baby!" Julian yelled back into her face.
He finished the call with the lawyer and set the handset back down hard.
Victoria stood holding little Lily, watching the bitter woman fall apart entirely.
Suddenly, the large double front doors opened, and Julian's two sisters walked inside.
Clara and Sarah had arrived for their scheduled afternoon tea with their mother.
They stopped in their tracks as they saw the dramatic scene inside the foyer.
"What is going on here?" Clara asked, looking between Julian and Eleanor.
"Mother tried to drop baby Lily from the upper balcony," Julian stated directly.
Sarah gasped loudly, covering her open mouth with both of her shaking hands.
"That is a complete lie!" Eleanor shouted, turning toward her two daughters.
"They are trying to kick me out so Victoria can steal our inheritance!"
Victoria stepped forward calmly and handed the paper document to Clara.
"Read the official lab results yourself, Clara," Victoria said in a soft tone.
"Lily is Julian's biological daughter beyond any single shadow of doubt."
Clara scanned the court papers quickly, her eyes widening with deep guilt.
She looked up at Eleanor with utter disappointment in her teary eyes.
"Mother, you told us you had proof Victoria was lying to Julian," Clara whispered.
"You made us cut off contact with our own brother for five whole months!"
"I did it to protect the estate!" Eleanor tried to defend herself once more.
"You did it because you are a selfish, bitter woman," Sarah said, stepping away.
