Clara walked nervously toward the head table, wiping tears from her cheeks with her sleeve.

Clara: I was just trying to help my little brother, sir. I didn't know it would uncover all of this.
Sarah: You gave me my life back, Clara. You gave my son his mother back.
Sarah took the diamond ring from her pocket and placed it gently in Clara's hand.
Marcus: How much does your brother's heart surgery cost, Clara?
Clara: The total medical bill is eighty-five thousand dollars, sir. I've been working three jobs trying to save enough.
Marcus pulled out his checkbook and signed his name with quick, confident strokes before handing the check to Clara.
Clara: One million dollars?! Mr. Sterling, I can't take this! It's too much!
Marcus: It's a reward for your honesty and courage. Pay for your brother's surgery, buy a home, and go back to school. You won't ever have to work as a server again.

Toby: Can we go home now, Mommy?
Sarah: Yes, my sweet boy. We are going home, and we are staying together forever.
