Victoria gasped as Richard pulled out his official mobile phone.
He dialed a familiar number without hesitating for a second.
Richard: Hello, Arthur? Prepare the divorce papers immediately today.
Victoria: Richard, no! You cannot divorce me over a servant!
Richard: She is not a servant, she is my business partner.
Richard: And I will not spend another day tied to cruelty.
Victoria ran toward Richard and grabbed his arm in total panic.
Victoria: Please, Richard, I will apologize to her right now!
Victoria: I will treat her like royalty, I swear I will!
Richard removed her hands from his tuxedo jacket very calmly.
Richard: It is far too late for fake apologies, Victoria.
Elena took a step forward, standing tall for the first time.
She did not look afraid or nervous anymore at all.
Elena: You told me to learn my place earlier today, Victoria.
Elena: My place is right here, owning half of this estate.
Victoria felt her knees go weak under her heavy gold dress.
She sank down onto the marble floor she had made Elena clean.
The gold sequins sparkled uselessly against the hard cold floor.
Victoria: You cannot throw me out into the street like this!
Richard: Security will be here in five minutes to clear your things.
Richard: Take your clothes and leave this property immediately today.
Victoria looked up at Elena, begging with her tearful blue eyes.
Victoria: Please, Elena, speak to him... tell him to stop!
Elena looked down at Victoria without any anger or revenge.
Elena: I will not hurt you the way you hurt me.
Elena: But you must leave this house right now, Victoria.
Victoria sobbed as the reality of her total downfall hit her.
The grand doors opened once more as security officers walked inside.
