Richard dropped his leather briefcase onto the floor with a loud thud.

Richard: Lily! What is going on up there?!

Lily: She broke Mommy's locket! She pulled it off me!
Evelyn quickly adjusted her bright red dress and backed away slightly.
She put on a fake smile as Richard raced up the steps.

Lily: That is a lie, Daddy! She grabbed it and pulled!
Richard reached the top landing and placed his hands on Lily's shoulders.

Lily buried her face into her father's chest while sobbing heavily.

Richard: Pack your bags and leave this house right now.

Evelyn: You cannot throw me out of this mansion so easily!
Evelyn: We are legally married and I have rights here!
Richard: My legal team will file for divorce first thing tomorrow morning.
Richard: Get out before I have security remove you forcefully.
Evelyn clenched her fists tightly as she glared at the child.
Evelyn: You will regret this day, Richard!
Evelyn: You have no idea what you are giving up for her!
Evelyn turned around sharply and stomped down the marble staircase.
Her high heels clicked loudly on the polished floor below.
She slammed the heavy front door behind her with maximum force.
The loud echo reverberated throughout the entire spacious hallway.
Richard knelt down beside Lily on the cold upper floor.
He carefully picked up the silver locket from the bottom stair.
