Mark turned his head slowly toward his sister, his voice trembling with dark, heavy anger.
Mark: Get out of my house right now, Clara, and never come back near my family!
Clara: Mark please, we are blood relatives, you cannot throw me out like this!
Mark: I am cutting off your trust fund access immediately, and I am calling my lawyer!
Clara opened her mouth to argue, but the intense rage in Mark's eyes stopped her.
She grabbed her dark leather purse frantically and fled out the heavy front doors.
The loud slamming sound of the front door echoed through the massive white mansion foyer.
Mark walked slowly across the marble floor toward Sarah, carrying baby Ella safely in hand.
He looked at Sarah with deep, absolute shame visible all across his trembling face.
Mark: Sarah, I am so deeply sorry for not believing your words from the start.
Sarah: You were terrified for your daughter, Mark, I understand why you reacted so fast.
Mark: That is no excuse for how I blamed you when you actually saved her life.
Lily walked over gently and wrapped her young arms around Sarah's waist in a tight hug.
Lily: Thank you for protecting my baby sister, Sarah, you are a real hero.
Sarah smiled through her tears, hugging the brave little girl tightly back in return.
Sarah: You were the real hero today, Lily, for standing up for what was right.
Mark handed baby Ella gently back into Sarah's warm, familiar, comforting motherly arms.
The baby cooed happily, resting her small head against Sarah's soft cream sweater collar.
The truth had finally prevailed, restoring complete peace and safety back inside the home.
