Sarah walked into the huge foyer where the grand marble staircase stood tall.
Victoria was standing on the high balcony holding her infant grandson near the edge.
The older woman in the dark blazer looked incredibly cold and totally unbothered.
Suddenly, the child slipped over the high railing toward the smooth marble floor below.
Sarah screamed in complete terror as the small blanketed bundle fell through the air.
The front double doors of the mansion swung open with a loud bang.
Mark's brother David rushed frantically inside while wearing a bright green suit.
David looked upward with an expression of absolute panic and total shock.
He jumped dramatically through the air across the polished stone floor.
David caught the falling baby securely in his strong arms right in time.
He landed heavily on his knees, safely cradling the child on the marble floor.
Sarah fell to her knees next to him while tears streamed down her cheeks.
She held her chest and gasped for air after witnessing the terrifying moment.
David looked down at the unharmed child and let out a deep breath.
David: I caught him! He is safe!
Sarah: Oh thank God! You saved him!
David: Is he alright? Check his blanket quickly!
Sarah: He is breathing normally. You arrived just in time, David!
David: What on earth happened up on that balcony?
Sarah looked up at the high balcony with furious, tear-filled eyes.
Victoria was standing up there, looking down coldly at her family members below.
She did not run down the stairs to check on the safe baby.
Instead, her expression remained calm and completely detached from the near disaster.
Sarah felt a powerful surge of intense anger deep inside her heart.
She wiped her wet face and looked at her brave brother-in-law David.
Sarah: You are ruthless!
Victoria: Don't touch me.
Sarah: How could you be so careless with a tiny child?
Victoria: It was merely a minor accident that ended safely.
Sarah: A child almost got hurt because of your absolute coldness!
Victoria turned her back and stepped toward the upper hallway doors quietly.
Sarah stood up from the floor with determination burning in her eyes.
She knew that Victoria was hiding something massive behind her quiet cold wall.
