Gwendolyn: "Officer, he's lying! Look at my face! He attacked me! He slapped me three times in front of the maid!"
Officer Thomas: "Ma'am, step back and keep your hands visible!"

Gwendolyn: "They're framing me! They want to kick me out of the marriage without giving me my fair share of the estate!"

Richard handed his smartphone over to Officer Thomas. The officer tapped the screen, watching the video playback as his face grew dark and rigid.
Officer Thomas: "Ma'am, this footage clearly shows you grabbing the toddler and violently shoving her over the balcony."
Gwendolyn: "That video is edited! It's an AI deepfake created by his IT team!"
Officer Thomas: "This is timestamped, live-cloud encrypted video footage directly from a home security feed. Put your hands behind your back immediately."
Gwendolyn: "Don't you dare touch me! My father is a former state senator! You'll lose your job for this!"
Officer Thomas: "I don't care who your father is. You are under arrest for attempted first-degree murder, felony child endangerment, and aggravated assault."
The second officer stepped forward, grabbing Gwendolyn's wrists and pulling them behind her back. The loud, metallic click of handcuffs echoed through the foyer.

Clara: "I love Maya like my own sister, Mr. Vance. I couldn't let anything happen to her."
Richard: "You put your own body on the line. You took those slaps for her. From this day forward, you are not our employee, Clara. You are family."
Maya: "Daddy... is Gwen gone?"
Richard: "Yes, my precious girl. She's gone, and she's never, ever coming back."
Maya rested her small head against Richard's shoulder, her little hands gripping his charcoal suit jacket tightly as she finally stopped crying.
