Mark stared at the small screen in complete and utter shock.
The footage left no doubt about what had taken place above.
His mother had deliberately sent the heavy frame crashing down.
Mark: Why on earth would you do that?
Mark: You could have hurt someone terribly below!
Victoria folded her arms tightly across her silk dress.
She stopped trying to deny what the video clearly showed.
Victoria: I wanted that useless maid out of my sight!
Mark: You tried to frame her for a horrific act?
Victoria: She does not belong in a luxury estate like this!
Victoria: Ever since you hired her, she questions my authority here.
Elena stood tall and maintained her calm tone of voice.
Elena: I only follow the rules set by Mr. Vance.
Elena: I refuse to let anyone disrespect this family or house.
Victoria: You are just a servant who forgot her place!
Mark stood up from the sofa with dark fury in his eyes.
Mark: She is a valuable member of our household staff!
Mark: You placed a child's safety at risk for your ego!
Victoria: I knew the baby was in her arms, Mark!
Victoria: I saw her carrying him toward the rear hallway!
Victoria: I knew the stroller was completely empty when I pushed it!
Mark shook his head in deep disgust at her words.
Mark: That does not make your action any less dangerous!
Mark: What if Elena had been standing at the bottom steps?
Mark: What if the frame had struck her while carrying my son?
Victoria looked away toward the large front door without speaking.
She showed no remorse or regret for her dangerous scheme.
Victoria: You always take the side of strangers over your family.
Mark: You proved today who the real stranger is in this house.
Elena walked over to collect the fallen stroller frame.
She inspected the wheels to ensure they were still safe.
Elena: The metal frame is bent from the hard impact.
Mark: We will replace it immediately with a brand new one.
Mark: And we will be replacing the house keys today as well.
