The entrance hall fell completely quiet after the heavy doors slammed shut.
Mark let out a long breath of relief and straightened his jacket.
He walked over to Sarah and knelt down beside her on the floor.
Mark: Are you and baby Leo completely okay after all that tension?
Sarah: We are both perfectly safe and sound, Mr. Vance.
Mark placed a gentle, loving hand on his baby boy's warm back.
Little Leo let out a soft coo and smiled up at his father.
Mark: Thank God you were here to keep him safe from harm.
Sarah: I would never let anything bad happen to this sweet child.
Mark: I am so sorry for ever doubting your word for one moment.
Sarah: You were shocked by the loss of your mother's precious glass.
Mark looked over at the scattered crystal pieces resting on the marble.
Mark: Objects can be replaced, but trust and loyalty are truly priceless.
Mark: From today on, I want you to manage this entire household estate.
Sarah looked up at Mark with bright, joyful eyes of complete surprise.
Sarah: Are you sure you want to trust me with that role?
Mark: You showed more integrity today than anyone else in this house.
Mark: You deserve double your pay and full control over the household staff.
Sarah felt a warm tear of pure relief roll down her cheek.
Sarah: Thank you so much, Mr. Vance, for believing in the truth.
Mark stood up and gently helped Sarah stand up with the baby.
Together they walked away from the broken glass toward the warm living room.
The sunlight shone brightly through the large front windows of the grand estate.
Peace and safety had finally returned to the home for good.
