Mark: Dave, walk over to the main gate and tell Security Chief Miller to step inside through the side pantry doors.
Groomsman Dave: I'm on it, Mark. Don't do anything crazy until Miller gets here.
Mark: I'm not going to do anything crazy, Dave. I'm going to play along until the trap closes on both of them.
Mark took a deep breath, smoothing down the lapels of his black tuxedo before walking slowly across the white marble floor toward the head table[cite: 1]. Chloe stepped forward, her lace gown dragging behind her as she reached out to hold his arm.
Chloe: Mark, you look so pale! Are you feeling okay, sweetie?
Mark: I'm fine, Chloe. Just a little startled by the breaking glass, that's all.
Julian: You look like you've seen a ghost, little brother! Here, let me hand you a fresh glass of champagne.
Julian reached toward a silver tray on the head table, handing Mark a freshly poured flute filled with bubbling golden wine.
Mark: Thanks, Julian. You've always been so generous with me, haven't you?
Julian: Of course! We're brothers now. We take care of each other, right?
Mark: Right. Just like you took care of my father's corporate papers last week?
Julian's smile faltered for a fraction of a second, his grip tightening on his own crystal flute.
Julian: What are you talking about, Mark? That was standard estate paperwork.
Mark: Standard estate paperwork that gave you ten percent control of my firm if I suddenly became incapacitated?
Chloe: Mark, why are you talking about business right now?! This is our wedding day!
Mark: You're right, Chloe. It is our wedding day. A day we promised to be honest with each other for the rest of our lives.
Chloe: Then drink your toast with your brother, honey! Everyone is waiting for us to cut the cake!
Mark: I will drink, Chloe. But only if you drink from this glass first.
Mark held out the freshly poured champagne glass toward Chloe, stepping right up to her with an intense, unblinking glare.
Chloe: What?! Mark, that's your glass! I already have my own cup right here!
Mark: Take a sip from this one, Chloe. Just one small sip to prove your love for me.
Julian: Mark, stop acting so ridiculous! You're making a scene in front of two hundred guests!
Mark: Am I making a scene, Julian? Or am I just asking my brand new wife to share a drink with me?
Chloe's face turned deathly white, her lips trembling as she backed away from the glass in Mark's hand.
Chloe: I... I don't feel good, Mark. My stomach hurts... I need to go to the restroom.
Mark: You're not going anywhere, Chloe.
Before Chloe could take another step backward, Security Chief Miller and four armed guards stepped out from the side pantry doors, surrounding the head table on all sides.
