Exposing The Truth

Her Stepmother Thought No One Was Watching That Afternoon

David marched up the wooden staircase with heavy, deliberate, echoing footsteps.

Victoria took half a step backward, sensing the dangerous shift in energy.

“David, please calm down so we can talk like adults,” Victoria pleaded.

“Did you touch my son?” David asked, his voice shaking with anger.

“Of course not! I would never hurt a little child!” Victoria lied quickly.

“You know how much I care about this family and home,” she added.

David reached the top landing and stopped mere inches from her face.

“I put high-definition security cameras in every hallway last month,” David revealed.

Victoria’s face instantly lost all of its natural color and warm charm.

Her jaw dropped slightly as she stared at the corner ceiling angle.

A tiny black lens was aimed directly down at the entire staircase.

“I had them installed after company financial papers went missing,” David explained.

“They record clear video and live audio directly to my mobile phone,” David said.

He pulled his smartphone from his coat pocket with a steady hand.

He opened the security application and tapped the live playback motion log.

The high-definition video clearly showed Victoria intentionally kicking the heavy block.

It showed her watching the baby slip without reaching out to help.

It showed her cold, heartless smile right before Sarah caught the child.

David turned the phone screen around so Victoria could see the video.

“Explain this to me right now!” David roared, his voice echoing loudly.

Victoria swallowed hard, finding it impossible to invent another lie now.

“He is not my son! He gets all your attention!” Victoria spat bitterly.

“You spent your money on their trust funds instead of me!” she yelled.

David gasped in utter shock at her vile and selfish confession.

He could not believe he had brought this monster into his home.

“You marry me for my wealth, and then target my children?” David asked.

“This marriage is completely over as of this exact second!” David barked.
