The Arrival Of The Police

Her Stepmother Framed The Maid Until Security Footage Showed The Truth

Marcus: "Security, keep her right there! If she moves a single inch, tackle her to the ground!"

Victoria: "Let go of me! You have no right to restrain me in my own husband's house!"

Security Guard: "Ma'am, stay where you are until the police arrive."

Victoria: "Marcus! Think about our family reputation! Think about what the news will say if you have me arrested!"

Marcus: "I don't give a damn about our reputation! You attempted to murder my baby boy!"

Elena slowly stood up from the wet concrete tile, shivering in her wet uniform. Marcus walked over to her, his face filled with deep remorse and immense gratitude as he held Toby safely in his arm.

Marcus: "Elena... I am so sorry for shouting at you earlier. You saved my son's life today."

Elena: "You don't have to apologize, Mr. Vance. Any loving person would have jumped into that water."

Marcus: "You didn't just jump in, Elena. You took the fall for a crime you didn't commit while soaking wet."

Victoria: "Marcus, please! I was stressed! The doctors said I was having postpartum anxiety!"

Marcus: "Postpartum anxiety?! Toby isn't even your biological child! You married me six months ago!"

Victoria: "I meant... I meant the stress of being a new stepmother! It was a momentary breakdown!"

Marcus: "You shoved a stroller into eight feet of water, Victoria! That is not a breakdown, that is pure evil!"

Within five minutes, police sirens echoed down the quiet suburban street of the Dallas luxury neighborhood. Two Dallas police cruisers pulled onto the long driveway, their red and blue lights flashing against the white pillars of the house. Four uniformed officers stepped out and marched briskly toward the pool area.

Officer Rodriguez: "Dallas Police! We received an emergency report of attempted murder and child endangerment!"

Marcus: "Officer Rodriguez, thank God you're here. My wife, Victoria Vance, intentionally shoved my baby's stroller into the deep end of the pool."

Victoria: "It was an accident, Officer! The wind blew the stroller!"

Officer Rodriguez: "Ma'am, quiet down. Mr. Vance, do you have evidence?"

Marcus handed his smartphone directly to Officer Rodriguez. The officer watched the crisp 4K recording, his expression turning cold and stern as he observed Victoria kicking the brake and shoving the stroller into the water while Elena worked at the table.

Officer Rodriguez: "Hands behind your back, ma'am."

Victoria: "No! Get your hands off me! I am the lady of this estate!"

The officers grabbed Victoria's arms, forcing them behind her back and clicking metallic handcuffs tightly over her wrists. Victoria shrieked furiously, her green sequin dress glittering uselessly under the bright Texas sun as she was led away toward the police cruiser.
