Her Stepmother Dropped His Child Off The Balcony For Money

The afternoon heat outside the Dallas mansion was thick, but inside the grand foyer, the polished white marble floor was cold as ice. Julian’s hands trembled as he tightened his black tie over his grey suit. He had just stepped out of the study after reviewing his late father’s revised estate will.

Julian: Victoria, where is my daughter?

Victoria: Why do you care so much, Julian? She is just a distraction in this house!

Julian looked up toward the second-floor balcony with its white balustrades. Victoria stood under the massive American flag hanging on the wall, wearing a vibrant green velvet dress. In her arms, she held little Lily over the railing. The girl wore a bright yellow dress, her tiny legs dangling fifty feet above the hard floor.

Julian: Victoria! Put her down right now! What the hell are you doing?!

Victoria: She doesn't belong in this family! She is taking away my late husband's trust fund!

Julian: Don't move! Just hold her still!

Victoria: Oops! My hands are slipping!

A high-pitched gasp echoed through the cavernous foyer as Victoria opened her fingers. The child plunged toward the hard white floor. Julian didn't think or hesitate. He sprinted across the slick marble tiles, diving forward with his arms outstretched. He caught the crying child just inches above the ground, skidding on his knees.

Julian: I've got you. You're safe now.

Julian: It's okay sweetheart, I'm here.

Tears poured down Julian's face as he hugged the child tightly to his chest. Up on the balcony, Victoria stood frozen in absolute shock and panic, covering her mouth with her hands. Julian slowly stood up, holding his daughter protectively as he turned toward the grand staircase. His eyes burned with an intense, terrifying rage as he began climbing the steps.

Julian: You monster... You absolute monster!

Victoria: Julian, wait! Please stop! It was an accident!

Julian: Get the police here right now!

Julian pulled his smartphone from his inner pocket to dial emergency services, glaring at his stepmother with pure hatred. Victoria backed away against the gilded wall, her face pale, knowing her dark scheme had just crumbled right before her eyes.
