Mark tapped the security camera app on his phone screen with a trembling finger.
He unlocked the private cloud footage from the living room cameras that recorded every single hour.
The video clip from two hours ago started playing clearly right on his high-definition screen.
He saw his stepmother Victoria walking down the grand glass staircase with a glass of red wine.
Victoria was wearing an expensive champagne silk gown and gold jewelry around her slender neck.
She looked down at Sarah with a bitter sneer spread across her red lips.
In the video clip, Victoria deliberately poured her glass of red wine onto the clean white floor.
Then she pointed her sharp finger directly at Sarah's face and shouted angry orders at her.
When Sarah tried to speak up, Victoria pushed a heavy wooden chair right into her path.
Sarah fell down onto her knees on the hard floor while trying to protect her baby.
Victoria stood over her and laughed out loud without showing any mercy or human kindness.
Mark felt his heart pounding wildly against his ribs as he watched the horrible video clip.
His knuckles turned completely white as he gripped his smartphone with furious strength.
He had spent months trusting his stepmother to treat Sarah fairly inside the grand house.
Instead, Victoria had turned his sweet pregnant wife into a helpless household servant.
Mark: This evil cruelty ends right here and right now.
He slipped his phone into his coat pocket and looked toward the tall staircase.
High heels began clicking softly against the modern glass steps from the upper floor.
Victoria was walking down slowly with a smug smile on her painted face.
She held a fresh glass of sparkling white wine in her right hand like a queen.
Victoria: Welcome back home early, my dear stepson Mark.
Mark: Do not speak to me like everything is normal!
Victoria: Why are you shouting at me in my own front hall?
Mark: You are a complete monster, Victoria!
Victoria stopped moving on the bottom step and placed her glass down on a table.
Her smug smile disappeared instantly as she saw the intense anger in Mark's dark eyes.
