Evelyn: "Julian, listen to me! I didn't mean to do it!"
Julian: "You pushed my daughter over a second-story railing!"
Evelyn: "She slipped! I was trying to hold her back, but her t-shirt was too loose!"
Clara: "She's lying, Daddy! She grabbed me and said she hated me before she threw me!"
Julian: "I saw you with my own eyes, Evelyn! I saw your hands shove her!"
Evelyn: "You were down in the foyer! You couldn't possibly see what happened from that angle!"
Julian stepped forward, pointing his finger sternly directly at Evelyn's face in front of the American flag.
Julian: "Do not speak another lie in this house! You are a monster!"
Evelyn: "I am your wife, Julian! You can't speak to me like this in front of the staff!"
Julian: "You ceased being my wife the exact second you tried to murder my daughter!"
Evelyn: "Murder?! That is an absurd accusation! I was just playing a game with her!"
Clara: "It wasn't a game! She always scares me when you go to work!"
Julian looked down at Clara, who was standing behind him with tears streaming down her pale cheeks. He dropped to one knee and checked her arms, noticing red grip marks on her small wrists.
Julian: "Look at these marks, Evelyn! Did she slip, or did you grab her by force?!"
Evelyn: "She... she gets bruised easily! You know how delicate she is!"
Julian: "Shut up! Just shut your mouth!"
Evelyn pulled herself up from the marble floor, wiping a tear from her cheek as her eyes filled with bitter anger.
Evelyn: "You hit me three times, Julian! I have marks on my face!"
Julian: "You are lucky I didn't throw you off the balcony myself!"
Evelyn: "I am calling my lawyer! I'm reporting you for domestic battery!"
Julian: "Go ahead and call him! Tell him you tried to kill my child first!"
Evelyn: "It's your word against mine! No judge in this city will believe a father who loses his temper!"
Julian stood up tall, his eyes narrowing into a cold, dangerous glare that made Evelyn step back.
Julian: "You think you were smart, don't you? You thought nobody was watching."
Evelyn: "Nobody was watching! The foyer was empty until you ran in!"
Julian: "You forgot about the estate renovation I finished last week."
Evelyn's face turned pale. She slowly glanced up toward the high ceiling near the top of the white wall.
Evelyn: "What renovation?"
Julian: "I installed a brand-new 4K security network with direct cloud recording."
Evelyn: "No... you didn't..."
Julian: "Every single inch of this balcony is captured in crystal-clear high definition."
Evelyn: "You're lying to scare me!"
Julian reached into his suit jacket, pulled out his phone, and tapped the screen twice. The audio from the balcony video began playing out loud through the speakers.
Phone Audio: "Your daddy isn't here to save you, you little brat!"
Evelyn gasped in terror, her hands shaking as the sound of Clara's screams echoed through the quiet mansion.
Evelyn: "Turn it off! Turn it off right now!"
Julian: "The police are going to love watching this in court."
