The Boy Everyone Tried to Remove From the Funeral

Dark storm clouds hung over Green Hills Memorial Cemetery as mourners gathered beneath black umbrellas around a polished oak coffin covered with white lilies. Rain poured relentlessly across the funeral grounds, turning the grass into thick mud while thunder echoed through the sky.

Friends and relatives stood silently as the minister prepared to begin the service.

Suddenly, a small muddy figure stumbled through the crowd.

It was an eight-year-old boy.

His clothes were soaked, his face streaked with tears and dirt, and he struggled to make his way toward the coffin despite the heavy rain.

Before he could reach it, an angry woman stepped in front of him and grabbed him roughly by the neck, trying to pull him away.

"Who let you near this coffin?"

Her furious voice cut through the silence.

Several guests looked away, believing the child was simply lost.

The boy coughed, trying to catch his breath.

Still crying, he looked up at the woman.

His voice trembled.

"Because... that's my mommy."

The words froze everyone.

The woman's grip loosened immediately.

Her expression changed from anger to complete shock.

The rain continued falling as silence spread across the cemetery.

No one moved.

No one spoke.

How could this child be the woman's son?

The family had told everyone that the deceased had no children.

Confused whispers spread through the crowd.

The boy slowly walked toward the coffin, gently placing one muddy hand on the polished wood.

He lowered his head and cried quietly.

Across the cemetery, another disturbance began.

Two men in black suits were dragging an older muddy man away from the funeral.

The elderly man desperately struggled to break free.

"Leave him alone!"

His desperate cries echoed across the cemetery.

The heartbreaking scene only deepened the mystery surrounding the funeral.
