The Unjust Strike and Threats

A Wealthy Woman Slapped Her Housemaid Before Secret Security Cameras Captured Everything

The silence in the bedroom felt suffocating as Evelyn pulled out her golden smartphone, tapping the screen with heavy pressure. She held the phone near her ear, her face twisted in a smug smile of complete power and satisfaction. Elena took another small step forward, her voice cracking as she pleaded for basic common sense from her employer.

Elena: Please, Mrs. Vance, do not call the police! Just look around the room first!

Evelyn: I don't need to look around! The velvet box is empty, and you are standing right here!

Elena: Why would I take a diamond necklace I could never sell?

Evelyn: Because people like you see luxury every day and get greedy!

Elena: I am an honest woman! I have two children at home depending on my paycheck!

Evelyn: Then you should have thought about your children before you decided to become a thief!

Elena: I am NOT a thief!

The loud denial made Evelyn freeze in her tracks as she lowered her smartphone back down to her side. Her blue eyes narrowed into sharp slits as she stepped around the edge of the mahogany vanity, closing the final distance between them until she stood towering over Elena.

Evelyn: How dare you raise your voice at me in my own home!

Elena: I am defending myself because you are making a terrible mistake!

Evelyn: The only mistake I made was hiring a low-class street girl like you into this mansion!

Without a single word of warning, Evelyn raised her right hand high into the air and brought it down across Elena's face with maximum force. A sharp, sickening sound echoed through the high-ceilinged room, cutting through the warm air like a whip crack. The physical impact was so strong that Elena winced violently, her head snapping sideways as her body stumbled back against the heavy wooden wardrobe.

Elena pressed her left hand against her cheek, feeling the fiery heat spreading across her skin where Evelyn's palm had landed. She stared at the wealthy woman in absolute shock, unable to believe that anyone could be so heartless and violent toward an innocent employee.

Evelyn: You're going to prison!

Elena: You... you hit me?!

Evelyn: I can do whatever I want to a thief caught red-handed in my master bedroom!

Elena: I didn't touch your necklace!

Evelyn: Keep shouting, Elena. The police love loud criminals.

Elena: You are lying to ruin my life!

Evelyn: Who is a judge going to believe? A prominent socialite and philanthropist, or a temporary housemaid with empty pockets?

Elena: You know I didn't take it!

Evelyn: It doesn't matter what I know. It matters what I say.

Elena pressed her back against the dark wood of the wardrobe, her body shivering from a painful mix of fear and embarrassment. Bright tears filled her dark eyes, threatening to roll down her cheeks as she held her stinging face. She thought about how hard she had scrubbed every corner of this mansion, endured harsh words without complaint, and worked late hours just to keep a simple roof over her family's heads.

Evelyn: Look at you. Pathetic. Crying won't save you now.

Elena: I spent two years sweeping your floors and taking your disrespect...

Evelyn: And you were paid for it! That doesn't buy you equality!

Elena: I never asked for equality! I asked for human decency!

Evelyn: Decency is reserved for people who belong in this class.

As those cruel words left Evelyn's lips, something shifted deep inside Elena's heart. The burning shock and tears vanished completely, replaced by a sudden wave of quiet, searing anger. She slowly straightened her back, standing tall against the wardrobe as her hands clenched into firm fists at her sides.

Evelyn: What are you looking at? Lower your eyes when I'm speaking to you!

Elena: No.

Evelyn: What did you say to me?!

Elena: I said no, Mrs. Vance.

Evelyn: I will hit you again if you don't shut your mouth!

Evelyn pulled her hand back once more, her face red with rage as she prepared to strike the maid across her other cheek.
