The ballroom went completely silent as guests watched the confrontation unfold beneath the American flag. Nobody dared to speak, shocked by Victor's cruel act but equally surprised that a young woman was standing up to one of the city's most powerful men. Victor looked at Sarah with a condescending laugh, reaching out to shove her shoulder back.
Victor: Get out of my face before I call the cops on you!
Sarah: If you ever lay a hand on my daughter again, I will end you!
Before Victor could even react to her furious, screaming shout, Sarah wound back her leg and kicked him forcefully directly in the stomach. The thud of her shoe hitting his gut echoed across the silent room like a gunshot. Victor gasped loudly, all the air rushing out of his lungs at once as his eyes went wide with complete shock.
Victor: Ugh! You crazy bitch!
Victor stumbles back three steps, tripping over his own glossy shoes, and crashes hard onto the light marble floor. His heavy body hit the floor with a loud smack, sending his glass rolling away. He lay there clutching his stomach in total shock and pain, gasping for breath like a landed fish. Sarah towered over him with fierce authority, her eyes burning like fiery coals right under the US flag hanging high above them.
Sarah: Get away from my child!
Victor: Security! Get this crazy woman out of here! She assaulted me!
Sarah: You hit a helpless child! Touch her again and see what happens!
Two security guards came running down the aisle, but when they saw Victor lying on the ground holding his gut and the small child weeping behind Sarah, they stopped in their tracks. One of the guards pulled out his radio, looking nervous as the crowd began whispering loudly among themselves. Sarah did not back down an inch, standing like an unyielding wall between the fallen billionaire and her crying child.
Guard: Sir, what happened here?
Victor: She attacked me! Arrest her immediately! Look at my suit!
