Richard looked directly into Victoria's eyes with absolute rage and total disbelief.
Richard: How dare you treat my innocent young daughter like a servant!
Victoria: She was being rude and needed to learn some proper discipline!
Lily: I wasn't being rude, Daddy, she made me kneel down!
Richard: You forced a small child to polish your shoes on her knees?
Victoria crossed her arms high and let out a cold, dismissive little laugh.
Victoria: She should feel proud to polish high heels in a home like this!
Richard could not believe the heartless words coming out of her mouth.
He walked closer to Victoria, keeping Lily securely safe behind his shoulder.
His hands clutched into tight fists as his chest heaved with heavy emotion.
Richard: You were hired to coordinate events, not to abuse my family!
Victoria: I was simply teaching her how to obey adults properly today.
Richard: You have no authority in this house over my daughter at all!
Lily pointed a small stained finger toward Victoria from behind her father.

Richard felt his blood boil at the thought of his child being terrified.
He looked at the empty shoe polish tin lying on the carpet floor.

Richard: You are standing in my house, treating my child like dirt!
