Arthur walked toward the two young boys with a sinister smile on his face.
Arthur: You look just like your rich dad, kid.
Julian: Stay away from us! I know what you did eight years ago!
Arthur: You don't know anything, brat! Your dad paid me to take Leo away!
Leo: Uncle Arthur... is that why you always take my money?
Arthur: Shut up, Leo! You were just a payday for me!
Arthur reached out his hand to grab Julian's backpack.
Arthur: Give me whatever valuables you brought from that mansion!
Julian: No! Leave us alone!
Julian shoved Arthur's arm away and grabbed Leo's hand tightly.
Julian: Run, Leo! Run fast!
Both boys sprinted out of the abandoned train station onto the bright street.
Arthur ran after them, yelling angry threats at the top of his lungs.
Julian guided Leo toward a large city court building down the street.
He knew there would be security guards and lawyers stationed near the front entrance.
They burst through the heavy glass doors into the marble lobby of the courthouse.
Julian: Help us! Please help us!
Two armed court officers immediately stepped in front of the young boys.
Arthur stopped dead at the entrance and tried to turn around to escape.
The court officers quickly tackled Arthur to the ground and put hand cuffs on him.
A well-dressed female lawyer named Clara walked over to the breathing boys.
Clara: Are you boys alright? What is going on here?
Julian pulled out his tablet screen and showed her the clear photos of the legal documents.
Julian: My parents hid my twin brother and gave money to that man to abandon him!
Clara looked at the documents on the tablet with sharp, professional eyes.
Her jaw dropped as she recognized the signatures of Richard and Eleanor on the adoption fraud contract.
Clara: This is a massive crime. I know who your father is, young man.
Julian: Please help my brother. He has had nothing for eight years.
Clara: Don't worry, sweetie. Justice is going to be served today.
