Evelyn sobbed loudly, clinging to Richard's blue jacket sleeve.
Evelyn: Oh, darling, thank goodness you arrived in time!
Richard: Evelyn, what is going on here?
Evelyn: This crazy nurse just laid her hands on me!
Richard: What are you talking about?
Evelyn: She was screaming at me and tried to steal my golden jewelry!
Evelyn: When I tried to stop her, she pushed me against the wall!
Richard turned his gaze toward Sarah, his expression stern and confused.
Sarah stood tall beside the American flag, holding the crying baby firmly.
She kept her voice calm, steady, and full of honest dignity.
Sarah: That is a complete lie, Mr. Sterling.
Evelyn: Do not listen to her, Richard! Fire her right now!
Sarah: I did not lay a finger on anyone, sir.
Sarah: Mrs. Sterling was dragging your infant son across the floor by his strap.
Richard's jaw dropped as he looked down at his crying son.
Richard: Is this true, Evelyn?
Evelyn: Of course not, my love! She is making up wild stories to save herself!
Evelyn: Why would I ever hurt our sweet little baby boy?
Sarah: Because she wants the family inheritance all to herself, sir.
Evelyn gasped dramatically, placing a hand over her dark red gown.
Evelyn: How dare you accuse me of such horrible greed!
Richard: Sarah, these are very serious allegations you are making against my wife.
Sarah: I know they are serious, Mr. Sterling.
Sarah: That is why I made sure to capture the entire truth on video.
Sarah stepped forward firmly, holding out her bright smartphone screen.
Evelyn's face instantly lost all of its color, turning completely pale.
She lunged toward Sarah again, trying to snatch the phone out of her hands.
Evelyn: Give me that phone, you lying snake!
Richard quickly stepped between them, holding Evelyn back by her shoulders.
Richard: Stop right there, Evelyn!
Evelyn: Darling, do not look at it! It is a fake video!
Richard: Let me see the screen, Sarah.
Sarah unlocked the phone and pressed the play button on the recorded video clip.
The crisp HD screen showed the bright foyer in broad daylight.
It clearly showed Evelyn roughly yanking baby Leo's harness while he cried out.
It showed her cold expression and total lack of care for the infant.
Richard stared at the video screen as his face darkens with pure rage.
A heavy, dramatic silence filled the large mansion foyer.
