Mark looked up into the corner near the high ceiling.
A small black security camera sat mounted on the wall.
Its tiny red light was blinking steadily in the room.
Victoria stopped crying instantly and froze in complete silence.
Her face lost all of its natural bright pink color.
Victoria: Mark, don't listen to her crazy nonsense today.
Victoria: The camera system is broken and does not work.
Rachel: It works just fine, Mark. Check your phone app.
Mark pulled out his cell phone with a shaking hand.
He opened the security application on his digital screen.
The live video feed loaded immediately in high definition.
He tapped the playback button to view the last minutes.
