Mark carried his baby into the bright kitchen and set him in a seat.
He handed Sarah a clean wet cloth to wipe her bruised face gently.
Mark: Tell me everything that happened while I was away in Chicago.
Sarah took a deep breath and tried to stop her body from shaking.
Maid: She locked the baby in the dark laundry room for two hours.
Sarah explained how Victoria hated the sound of a child crying loudly.
When Sarah tried to unlock the room door, Victoria pushed her down hard.
Sarah hit the hard wooden table edge while falling onto the kitchen floor.
Victoria told Sarah that nobody would believe a poor domestic helper's word.
Mark felt a cold chill run through his whole body as Sarah spoke.
He remembered seeing small bruises on his son's arms the previous week.
Victoria had claimed the baby fell while playing on the living room rug.
Mark had believed her excuse because he loved her with his whole heart.
Now he realized he had brought a cruel person into his home.
He pulled out his phone and dialed his family lawyer's private cell number.
Mark: David, I need you at my house with legal papers right now.
The lawyer promised to arrive at the mansion within twenty short minutes.
Mark walked over to the security system screen mounted on the wall.
He typed his private code to open the hidden camera video files.
The small camera in the hallway showed the entire event from that morning.
Mark watched Victoria push Sarah and lock the heavy wooden laundry door.
His jaw clenched as he saved the video file onto a flash drive.
