Victoria backed up a step, realizing for the first time that her plan had completely collapsed.
"Mark, darling, it's not what it looks like," Victoria stammered, her voice losing its confidence.
"She slipped and spilled her cold drink, and I was just trying to help clean it up!"
Mark did not listen to a single word of her desperate, pathetic lie.
He looked at the worker outside the glass window, who shook his head in disgust.
Mark looked down at the large glass bowl sitting on the nearby side table.
It was still half-filled with freezing water and leftover ice cubes from the ordeal.
In a burst of high-action rage, Mark grabbed the heavy glass bowl by its rim.
He swung his arm forward, hurling the freezing ice and cold water directly into Victoria's face.
The icy blast struck her squarely, drenching her red silk dress and ruining her styled hair.
Victoria shrieked in shock as the freezing water soaked through her expensive designer clothes.
She stumbled backward against the sofa, shivering just as Lily had been forced to do moments earlier.
"Don't you ever come near my daughter again!" Mark roared, his voice echoing off the tall walls.
He stood tall and protective right in front of the American flag hanging behind him.
Victoria gasped for air, her makeup running down her pale, dripping cheeks in dark streaks.
She looked around the room, realizing she had lost all power, status, and dignity in seconds.
The workers outside watched the confrontation, nodding in silent approval of the father's swift defense.
Mark immediately reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone with a firm hand.
He dialed his family attorney first to draft an immediate restraining order and terminate her contract.
Then he dialed the local police department to report the clear physical endangerment of a minor.
Victoria tried to speak, but Mark raised a hand, cutting off her words completely.
"You will leave this house right now before the authorities arrive to escort you away," Mark stated coldly.
