Loud police sirens echoed from down the long paved driveway near the entrance.
Two white police cruisers sped through the large black iron security gates quickly.
They brought their patrol cars to a sudden stop right on the gravel driveway.
Four armed police officers stepped out onto the bright sunlit estate grounds quickly.
Richard walked over toward the officers while holding his secure smartphone out high.
Richard: Officer, I have clear security video of a violent child assault.
Police Officer: Sir, please show us the recorded video footage right away.
The lead police officer watched the sharp CCTV clip on the dark phone screen.
He saw Victoria shove the young child off the high balcony with force.
He looked over at Victoria who was trying to slip behind the bushes.
Police Officer: Ma'am, freeze right there and put your hands behind your back!
Victoria: This is a massive misunderstanding between a husband and wife!
Police Officer: The high definition video footage proves otherwise, ma'am!
The officer grabbed her wrists firm and slapped heavy steel handcuffs onto her.
Victoria let out a loud dramatic screech as the cold metal locked tight.
Victoria: Get your rough hands off my expensive white designer dress!
Police Officer: You are under arrest for attempted murder and child endangerment!
They marched the crying stepmother straight toward the back seat of the cruiser.
Her bright white lace dress got dirty as they put her in the car.
She stared out the dark tinted glass window with bitter tears on her face.
Richard watched the police car drive away down the long paved driveway slowly.
