The Shredded Wedding Agreement

A Cold Stepmother Smashed a Cake on a Child at a Wedding

Victoria: You are completely overreacting. It was a harmless moment!

Richard: Don't ever touch her again!

Richard grabbed Victoria by the arm, his grip firm enough to make her gasp as he shoved her hard against the side of the display table. The force of the impact shook the heavy wooden table, causing the five-tiered cake to sway dangerously as crystal glasses rattled against the silver trays.

Victoria: Let go of me! How dare you lay a hand on me in my own house!

Richard: This is my house! Paid for by my family's trust fund! You own nothing here!

Victoria: We are getting married on Saturday! I am your fiancee!

Richard: Not anymore.

Richard reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a folded sheaf of formal legal papers—the signed prenuptial agreement and marriage registry documents that their legal teams had spent weeks finalizing. With a violent jerk of his hands, he tore the legal paper in half with a sharp, echoing rip.

Victoria: What are you doing?! That took months to draft!

Richard: It's garbage. Just like your place in this family.

He threw the shredded pieces of the wedding contract directly onto the damaged cake, letting the white paper stick to the pink frosting and smashed berries.

Victoria: You can't just cancel the wedding over a child's tantrum! Do you know how much money my family put into the venue deposits?

Richard: I don't care about your money, your deposits, or your reputation. The wedding is officially cancelled.

Victoria: Richard, think about your standing in the Dallas community! Your board of directors will hear about this behavior!

Richard: Let them hear it! Let them know I chose my daughter over a cruel, heartless monster who strikes a toddler!

Victoria: She ruined the cake! She was ruining everything!

Richard: She is four years old! She was holding a plate to show you she was happy!

Victoria: She was being needy and demanding attention, just like she always does when you're around!

Richard: Because she is my child! And you just proved you will never be a mother to her.

Victoria stumbled backward in total shock, her face pale as she realized the massive fortune, the penthouse, and the estate were slipping through her fingers in a single second. The guests murmured loudly, pulling out their phones to record the chaos unfolding in the middle of the estate.

Victoria: You're making a huge mistake, Richard. You need me for the company merger.

Richard: I don't need anything from you. Security!

Two large men in black suits stepped out from the main foyer, moving quickly toward the dining hall.

Richard: Escort this woman off my property immediately. If she sets foot on this land again, call the police and have her arrested for trespass and child assault.

Victoria: Assault? You wouldn't dare!

Richard: Try me, Victoria. Just try me.
