Two Dallas police officers walked quickly through the side gate onto the bright patio floor.
Mark stepped forward and handed the officers the digital security video footage on a drive.
"She intentionally shoved my infant son into the deep pool water," Mark told the officers.
The lead officer read the scene quickly and pulled out a pair of shiny metal handcuffs.
"Sarah Miller, you are under arrest for endangerment and attempted harm," the officer stated clearly.
Sarah screamed and pulled back, but the officer clamped the cold steel onto her wrists.
"You can't do this to me! Do you know who I am?!" Sarah shrieked in desperation.
"You are a criminal who is going straight to jail," Mark replied with total satisfaction.
The officers led the crying stepmother away through the grand exit doors of the house.
The mansion was quiet once again as the bright Texas sun shone down on the water.
Arthur walked over to Elena and held out his hands to softly hold his grandson.
"I am so sorry I brought that evil woman into our home, Elena," Arthur said softly.
"All that matters now is that our baby boy is safe and healthy," Elena answered gently.
Mark put his arm around his brave wife and kissed her forehead with deep love.
"We are going to change our family estate rules tomorrow morning," Mark stated firmly.
"Everything will be placed into a secure trust fund for our child's future education," he added.
Elena smiled softly as she held her husband's hand beside the quiet blue pool water.
Justice had been served, and their family was finally safe from the evil around them.
