Samuel handed a pen to Sarah so she could sign the final property takeover form.
Sarah signed her name clearly across the blue line at the bottom of the white document.
Sarah: You have twenty-four hours to pack your personal belongings and leave this property.
Evelyn: You are a heartless woman, Sarah Sterling!
Sarah: I am a mother protecting her child from people who lack basic honor.
David looked down at Sarah's belly with deep regret in his blue eyes.
David: Will you at least let me be a part of my child's life growing up?
Sarah: We will handle custody arrangements strictly through my family's law firm in court.
Samuel: And if you try to contact my daughter directly again, my security team will step in.
Two police cruisers pulled up outside the main entrance with their light bars flashing bright red.
Two officers walked into the foyer holding official paperwork in their gloved hands.
Officer: We received a report regarding false accusations and attempted property theft here.
Sarah: The matter regarding the missing ring has been resolved, Officer.
Officer: Mrs. Evelyn Vance, we have questions regarding fraudulent loan applications filed under your name.
Evelyn turned completely pale as the officer stepped closer to her side.
Evelyn: This is a massive misunderstanding! Call my attorney immediately!
Officer: Please step outside with us calmly so we can review these legal documents.
Sarah watched quietly as Evelyn was escorted down the marble steps toward the police car.
David sat down on the bottom step of the staircase with his hands over his face.
Sarah: Let us go home now, Dad. Everything is finally taken care of.
Samuel smiled warmly at his daughter as they walked together out into the warm afternoon sun.
